# Shape of Dreams Fan Content Guidelines

NEOWIZ Co., Ltd. and Lizard Smoothie (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) sincerely appreciate the interest and support shown by our users for Shape of Dreams (hereinafter referred to as the “Game”).

The Company respects and supports users’ creative activities and has established the following guidelines to foster a healthy and enjoyable fan content culture.

We hope you freely enjoy your creative activities within the scope of these guidelines and discover new ways to experience the Game.

## 1. Scope of Permitted Creations

The Company generally permits users to create derivative works based on the Game. However, to maintain a healthy gaming culture and protect intellectual property rights, the following types of creations are strictly prohibited:

#### 1.1 Simple Reproduction of Official Resources

* Posts that use official in-game illustrations, assets, logos, or other resources without meaningful transformation or creative reinterpretation
* Content involving only minor edits, such as resizing or cropping

#### 1.2 Circumvention of Security Measures & Illegal Copies

* Any content that disables or bypasses the Game’s technical protection measures (e.g., DRM)
* Mods, patches, or copies that unlawfully unlock limited-distribution items, DLC, or paid content
* Unauthorized copies of the Game

#### 1.3 Separate Games (Fan Games)

* Creation of standalone games using the Game’s IP

#### 1.4 Blockchain & NFT-Related Activities

* Creation or sale of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens)
* Issuance of cryptocurrency
* Linking the IP to P2E (Play-to-Earn) services
* Any content or activity involving blockchain technology<br>

## 2. Sales and Distribution

The sale of derivative works is permitted within the scope of genuine fan-created activities. However, please note the following:

#### 2.1 Prohibition of Corporate-Scale Mass Production

* Mass production via factories or third-party manufacturers
* Sales through corporate-scale distribution networks

#### 2.2 Prohibition of Dedicated Sales Websites

* Operating a standalone website or online store exclusively for selling derivative goods is prohibited

#### 2.3 Prohibition of Corporate Promotion

* Using derivative works to promote or advertise specific companies, brands, products, or services

#### 2.4 Online Sales by Individual Creators

* Individual creators may sell their works in small quantities through online commerce platforms such as Etsy or Shopify
* However, the Company reserves the right to restrict sales or update policies if such activity is deemed corporate-scale or harmful to the IP value, regardless of business registration status

#### 2.5 Monetization via Video Platforms

* Monetization through advertisements or viewer donations (e.g., YouTube, Twitch, Super Chat) on platforms accessible to the general public is permitted
* However, monetization through restricted-access content (e.g., members-only paid content) may be excluded<br>

## 3. Prohibited Content

Creation and distribution are strictly prohibited if the content includes or relates to the following:

### 3.1 Content Restrictions

* Damage to Original Work: Content that significantly harms the image or value of the original work
* Inappropriate Expressions: Excessive violence, hate speech, discriminatory content, or socially unacceptable material
* Anti-Social Content: Promotion of illegal activities, political or religious bias, or content violating public morals (including sexual content subject to community standards and applicable laws)
* Rights Infringement: Defamation, insult, or infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
* Content created using AI tools or any related programs

### 3.2 Impersonation & Misrepresentation

* Impersonation: Pretending to be the Company or official channels (developers, operators)
* False Claims: Claiming or implying official approval or affiliation (including unauthorized use of logos)
* Unauthorized Licensing: Granting licenses or transferring rights related to the IP to third parties

### 3.3 External Contest Submission

* Submitting derivative works to external contests, competitions, or exhibitions unrelated to the Company or the Game<br>

## 4. Attribution Requirements

All derivative works must clearly indicate that they are not official content and include attribution as shown below:

## 5. Rights & License

### 5.1 Ownership

* Copyright of derivative works belongs to the creator.
* However, all intellectual property rights to the Game IP (characters, worldbuilding, storyline, etc.) remain with the Company.

### 5.2 Company Usage Rights

* The Company may use derivative works (including modification and adaptation) for promotional and community activation purposes.
* The creator agrees not to exercise moral rights against such use.
* A separate discussion will be conducted in cases involving paid sales or transfers.

## 6. Additional Provisions

### 6.1 Actions for Guideline Violations

If a derivative work violates these guidelines, the Company may take the following actions:

* Request the removal or suspension of the content without prior notice
* Revoke permission to use the IP and restrict future derivative activities
* Take legal action under applicable copyright laws

### 6.2 Exceptional Approval

For uses beyond the scope of these guidelines (e.g., large-scale events, commercial collaborations), prior written approval from the Company is required.
